PERVERSION OF JUSTICE AT TOWNHALL, WOODBRIDGE TOWNSHIP, NEW JERSEY

The Township and Board of Education maintain accounts in excess of $16 million in Allegiance Bank where Judge Robbins has ownership interest and Chairman of the Board.  This is in clear violation of the Township's Conflict of Interest Ordinance.  The Town Council and Mayor McCormac have not taken any action or commented on Judge Robbins' violation of the ordinance.  A Township lawyer, provides legal opinions during Town Council meetings, is also a majority shareholder and member of the Board of Allegiance.

Allegiance Bank is being acquired (sold) by another bank based in Bayonne, New Jersey. Did the acquiring bank "factor-in" the Township accounts and Allegiance connections with Town Hall in the price of the acquisition?  Has or will Judge Robbins and the Township lawyer profited in the sale of the Bank?  Who authorized the placement of taxpayers' monies in Allegiance bank?  Christopher Struben called for an investigation and removal of Judge Robbins during a Town Council Meeting - Result Not A Word - Zero Action!

WHY THE SILENCE?

FIRE OBAMA
ON NOVEMBER 6, 2012, PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION

 September 24, 2011
Why the abject silence from Mayor McCormac, the Town Council, the Press and Judge “I do not know where to vote” Robbins?

The Right Choice for Woodbridge Mayoral Candidate, Christopher Struben at a Town Council Meeting and in a Press Release issued on August 26, 2011 (click here) has called for the removal of Judge Robbins for violation of Title 19 of the New Jersey Statutes and a conflict of interest by having Municipal deposit accounts at the Allegiance Community Bank (across the street of Town Hall) where Judge Robbins is the Chairman of the Board and a shareholder.  The singular comment, tantamount to silence, from the Town Council and McCormac Administration is that they do not have jurisdiction and it is up to the “judicial bench system”.  The Middlesex County Board of Election acted swiftly in ruling that Judge Robbins had violated election law in the past and ruled he cannot vote again in Woodbridge.  Understanding that the Town Council has no jurisdiction over Judge Robbins, a fact-finding investigation should have been initiated to determine whether Judge Robbins and the Municipal Administration have a conflict of interest by having deposit accounts at the Allegiance Community Bank, a “censure statement” on both Judge Robbins and the Administration should have been issued and enact revisions to strengthen the “conflict of interest” ordnances.  Likewise, Mayor McCormac should have issued a statement deploring this type of behavior by a Municipal appointee.

Mayor McCormac should conduct an inquiry of his Administration as to why deposit accounts are placed in Allegiance Community Bank knowing that Judge Robbins is the Chairman of the Board and shareholder of the Bank.  Are there any other Municipal officials that are shareholders, members of the Board or related to officers of Allegiance Community Bank?  Mayor McCormac should prove to all Woodbridge residents that there is transparency in his Administration.

Allegiance Community Bank, a privately-held financial institution, should disclose their majority shareholders and Board members.  The Allegiance Community Bank and BCB Community Bank (Bayonne, NJ) entered into a Purchase and Assumption Agreement in April 2011.  The term of the Agreement is that Allegiance Community Bank is being acquired by BCB Community Bank and will be completed this year.  It would seem that the shareholders will reap huge profits from the “acquisition” based upon the Municipal accounts, which are held at Allegiance.  Were the Municipal accounts and “goodwill” based on relations with the Township factored in the “due diligence” performed by BCB Community Bank when making their decision to acquire Allegiance?  If it was, how much will Judge Robbins and the shareholders of Allegiance Community Bank profit by these seemingly “illegally placed accounts”?

Mayor McCormac, Judge Robbins, Allegiance Community Bank, BCB Community Bank, FDIC (both banks are FDIC insured) and SEC (BCB Community Bank is publicly-held) should investigate and clarify this matter publicly.  Where is the transparency, Mayor McCormac?

Re:  Fourth Ward Election of Ward Chairperson, Wednesday, July 13, 2011

Dear Peter:
As you are aware, the WTRO Chairman, John Vrtaric, has scheduled a meeting of Fourth Ward committeepersons on July 13, 2011 to elect a new Chairperson.  The South East Asian Bloc is the majority in Ward 4 and can dictate who will be elected as Chairperson of the Ward. The Contributors of the WTRCO respectfully request that you exercise your influence and not to be coerced by the current WTRO leadership to maintain its solid hold in the management of the Organization.  The Contributors of the WTRCO have written articles critical of the manner in which the South East Asian Bloc has been used to elect the present WTRO leadership.  (To read more, click here.)

Is compliance to Title 19 of the New Jersey Statutes and WTRO Constitution a reasonable cause for removal as an appointed officer at the WTRO?

Woodbridge Republican Township Chairman John Vrtaric removed Republican Mayoral Candidate Christopher Struben, in the November 8, 2011, General Election, as Parliamentarian and member of the Executive Board.  Sources says that Vrtaric’s decision was in retribution for what transpired during the June 20, 2011, WTRO Meeting, read the June 22, 2011, posting, click here.
